Consider adopting a resolution approving the Consent Agenda items and the appropriate resolutions and ordinances for each of the following:
2020-0243-R: Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the procurement of online auction services for the sale of City surplus property for FY 2021 from GovDeals, Inc. of Montgomery, Alabama.
2020-0244-R: Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the expenditure of funds for eight multiyear agreements for FY 2021 in an estimated amount of $7,891,947.
2020-0245-R: Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the purchase of solid waste automation subscription services from Routeware, Inc. of Portland, Oregon, in the estimated amount of $ 136,500.
2020-0246-R: Consider adopting a resolution authorizing an annual purchase agreement for hot mix asphalt for FY 2021 with Texas Materials Group, Inc. of Cedar Park, in the estimated annual amount of $87,750.
2020-0247-R: Consider adopting a resolution authorizing an annual purchase agreement with Cubic ITS, Inc. of Sugar Land, Texas, in the estimated annual amount of $50,000 for traffic signal equipment and supplies for FY 2021.
2020-0248-R: Consider adopting a resolution authorizing a professional services agreement for design services needed to construct a new Solid Waste Department Complex with MRB Group of Temple, in the amount of $477,110.
2020-0249-R: Consider adopting a resolution authorizing a two-year professional services agreement for delinquent account collection services with McCreary, Veselka, Bragg & Allen of Round Rock.
2020-0250-R: Consider adopting a resolution authorizing a professional services agreement with Kasberg, Patrick and Associates, LP, for design services to develop the Midtown Neighborhood Planning District, in the amount of $88,850.
2020-0251-R: Consider adopting a resolution authorizing a construction contract with RT Schneider Construction Co, Ltd. of Belton for an airport land clearing project in the amount of $ 66,320.
2020-0252-R: Consider adopting a resolution authorizing a construction contract with RT Schneider Construction Co, Ltd., of Belton, TX for an airport fence realignment project in the amount of $143,025.
2020-0253-R: Consider adopting a resolution authorizing a memorandum of understanding with the National Recreation and Park Association to construct a nature themed play area at Prewitt Park through grant funding in the amount of $111,000.
2020-5056-O: SECOND & FINAL READING - FY-20-32-ZC: Consider adopting an ordinance authorizing a rezoning from Agricultural (AG) to Neighborhood Service (NS), on 47.809 acres, located in the Azarlah G Moore Survey, abstract 596 in Temple, addressed as 2420 West Nugent Avenue.
2020-5057-O: SECOND & FINAL READING - FY-20-31-ZC: Consider adopting an ordinance authorizing a rezoning from Office 2 (O-2) to Planned Development General Retail (PD-GR) with a Development/ Site Plan for a self-storage facility on 6.326 +/- acres, legally described as Lots 1 & 2, Block 1 Guillen Estates and all of called 4.326-acre tract of land, addressed as 1249 & 1147 Marlandwood Road.
2020-0254-R: Consider adopting a resolution approving a negotiated settlement between the Atmos Cities Steering Committee and Atmos Energy Corp., Mid-Tex Division regarding Atmos’ 2020 rate review mechanism filing.
2020-0255-R: Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the acquisition of seven rights of way, three drainage easements, and one temporary construction easement necessary for the construction of Outer Loop West Project Phase One and authorizing closing costs associated with the purchases in an estimated amount of $815,000.
2020-0256-R: Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the acquisition of one right of way and three temporary construction easements necessary for the construction of the North Pea Ridge Road Expansion Project Phase One and authorizing closing costs and relocation benefits associated with the purchase in an estimated amount of $136,000.
2020-0257-R: Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the acquisition of two rights of way and two public utility easements necessary for the construction of the South Pea Ridge Road Expansion Project in an estimated amount of $45,000.
2020-0258-R: Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the purchase of two rights of way and two temporary construction easements necessary for the Poison Oak Road Expansion Project and authorizing closing costs associated with the purchase in an estimated amount of $35,000.
2020-0259-R: Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the purchase of one property necessary for the Avenue C Expansion Project and authorizing a release of lien and closing costs in an estimated amount of $18,000.
2020-5058-O: FIRST READING - PUBLIC HEARING - FY-20-33-ZC: Consider adopting an ordinance authorizing a rezoning from Agricultural (AG) to Single Family-2 (SF-2), on 102.272 +/- acres of land generally located west of Orion Drive and approximately 1,200 feet north of the existing terminus of Clinite Grove Blvd. situated partly in the G.W. Lindsey Survey, Abstract 513 and the J.J. Simmons Survey, Abstract 737, located in Temple, Texas.
2020-5059-O: FIRST READING – PUBLIC HEARING - FY-20-36-ZC: Consider adopting an ordinance authorizing action on a rezoning request from Single Family 3-Planned Development (SF-3-PD) to Office 1 (O-1) zoning district on 0.2847 +/- acres, located in the Maximo Moreno Survey, Abstract 14 in Bell County, Texas, addressed as 306 South 12th Street.
2020-5060-O: FIRST READING – PUBLIC HEARING – FY-20-1-SITE: Consider adopting an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2005-4025 providing for Development/ Site Plan approval for an office building addition on Lot 5, Block 1, Adams Island Commercial, a nonresidential subdivision, addressed as 9121 Adams Lane.
The City Council reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open Meetings Act.
