2022-0135-R Consider adopting a resolution authorizing an annual contract with Chameleon Industries, Inc. of Mesquite for liquid ammonium sulfate in the estimated amount of $212,000.
2022-0136-R Consider adopting a resolution authorizing change order #1 to the construction contract with Matous Construction, Ltd, of Belton, for the construction of the Water Treatment Plant Membrane Facility Expansion in the amount of $649,760.29.
2022-0137-R Consider adopting a resolution authorizing a three-year agreement for the rental/lease of non-civil uniforms and floor mats with Cintas Corporation of Round Rock in the estimated annual amount of $75,000, for an estimated total contract value of $225,000.
2022-0138-R Consider adopting a resolution authorizing a professional services agreement with Clark Associates of Temple, for the design and bidding services required for the Leon River Trunk Sewer Phase 2 project in the amount of $861,070.
2022-0139-R Consider adopting a resolution authorizing a professional services agreement with Kasberg, Patrick & Associates, LP, for design and bidding services required for the SH 317 Pump Station and Ground Storage Project in the amount of $366,350.
2022-0140-R Consider adopting a resolution authorizing a professional services agreement with RJN Group of Dallas, for assessments of Little Elm and Leon River wastewater basins, in an amount not to exceed $1,473,861.
2022-0032-O SECOND & FINAL READING – FY-22-18-ZC: Consider adopting an ordinance authorizing a rezoning from Single-Family-1 (SF-1) to Office-1 on 0.10 +/- acres in the City of Temple, Bell County, Texas addressed as 204 North 7th Street.
2022-0033-O SECOND & FINAL READING: Consider adopting an ordinance approving the Temple Parks & Recreation Department’s Youth Programs Standards of Care and approving the 2021 annual report.
2022-0141-R Consider adopting a resolution suspending the June 17, 2022 effective date of Oncor’s rate increase for the maximum period permitted by law to allow the City, working in conjunction with the Steering Committees of Cities served by Oncor, adequate time to review the proposed changes and to establish reasonable rates.
2022-0142-R Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the Police Department to submit an application and accept funding through the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Fiscal 2022 Patrick Leahy Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP) for the purchase of ballistic vests and replacements in the amount of $28,902, with $14,451 of required City matching funds.
2022-0143-R Consider adopting a resolution authorizing an update to the City of Temple General Government Compensation Plan and the City of Temple Civil Service pay charts, which includes a 4% across the board pay adjustment to be effective June 10, 2022.
2022-0034-O FIRST READING - PUBLIC HEARING - FY-22-3-ANX: Consider adopting an ordinance authorizing the annexation of 103.24 +/- acres consisting of the voluntary annexation of a called 95.27 +/- acre tract, situated in the Maximo Moreno 11- League Grant, Abstract No. 14 and the annexation of 7.97 +/- acres, being a portion of right-of-way out of Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railroad, now known as Union Pacific Railroad, located on the north side of E. FM 93 approximately 2700 feet east of its intersection with S. 31st Street.
2022-0035-O FIRST READING – PUBLIC HEARING: Consider adopting an ordinance authorizing an amendment and adopting the Tax Increment Financing Reinvestment Zone No. 1 Financing and Project Plans to align with Master Plans which includes adjusting bond proceeds, future debt service, and public improvements for years FY 2022 – 2062.
The City Council reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open Meetings Act.
